first day

first day of term 3...ah...went to school in what seems to be the wee hours as compared to the hols...hahaz...needed coffee to wake up...hahaz...did GP paper...think it went quite well larz...hahaz...but 3 hours very tiring...

ate laksa for lunch before going for 3 physics papers...it was so so larz...haix...as always...mcq not enuff time...by the end of paper 2...i was really stoning like dunno wad...looking in blank space...still had to squeeze out the last ounce of energy for paper 5...and after half an hour...it is over! yay!

2 subjects(minus prac) gone! 3 more to go...haix...

clam shell

last day of hols liao...so sian...dun look forward towards the start of school...cos it means the start of block test 2!!! ah...siansation...today very lazy...din do much work at all...lie here lie there lie everywhere...like a bed potato liddat...hahaz...

never mind...getting to the main part of this entry...i got a new phone! hehez...went to the m1shop at parco to get my phone...it is the LG G7120...a clamshell phone...got camera...looks very nice...cool...hehez...was deciding between this and Samsung X430...but the Samsung phone very small...i dun like it that much...anyway...also changed plan to SunText...free incoming from 7am to 7pm...120 free outgoing...and last but not least...1000 SMS until 31 Dec 2005! wahahaz...shiok man...finally got the account under my name...unlike my previous one which was under my aunt's name...

never mind...played around with the phone...did some last minute studying...heck liao...just so sian...

investiture

today was oac investiture. did not start the day well...slept only for 5 hours...cos there was think group of malay youth males...who was singing very loudly and clapping like nobody's business at the void deck...right until 1 plus in the morning! i could hear loud and clear from the 12th storey! irritating jerks...having fun at the expense of the either blocks of people...almost wanted to call 999 one...just that i too lazy...and then got people shout at them to shut up...

tidied up the house, sweeping and mopping the floor for the entire morning...was dripping sweat like mad...bathed and went to school...wanted to sleep in the qm room to catch some sleep...but too noisy outside there...haix...only a short nap...

woke up and started to mug physics...very tired...after a long while of waiting...finally able to start invest...cos we were late...hahaz...shall not go too much into the details of invest...but got this small bolster in exchange from jieying...got smiley face one...haha...this bolster useful as a "weapon"...hehez...

after the investiture...went to hong kong street opposite bukit timah shopping centre for dinner...had a nice dinner...crapped alot...joked alot...hahaz...and went to bukit timah market for dessert...round two! hahaz...at honey dew sago...after that...came back home and watch LOTR DVD...the graphics rox big time! haha...

hmmm...thats it for one day! =P

windsurfing

went for windsurfing today! woke up really early to go to meet the rest @ city hall mrt there...supposed to be 0745 meet...i reach there at 0727...was so tired...i just slept curled up at the steps beside the escalator...after waiting until 0803 for likoon(sea chief still so late!)...we were off...taking 36...at changi airport...we were told to get off the bus and re-board again...cause it is making a loop...fine with us...managed to sleep only a little on the bus...could not sleep much because of neck cramp at the side...hahaz...finally...we reached east coast sea sports club...paid the money and submitted the form before starting our theory...

learnt about the parts of the craft...and some theory...before going out to the simulator...learning how to mount the craft...and some basic postures...after that was practical...the sea was super duper choppy then lor! feng diao...could not stand up at all! the waves just hit my board and i fall off liaoz! argh...tried and tried again...little success...managed to get into that surfing position for 2-3 seconds before falling off...ah...after that was lunch...ate chicken rice...not worth it one...hahaz...the vending machine almost ate my 80 cents lor! stupid machine...

after lunch...continued on with learning how to turn...this time it was much better...can easily balance on the board liao...but when it comes to getting into surfing position still cannot make it...only managed to surf for about 15 metres liddat in total...hahaz...the instructors say waves to choppy liao...but good for us to learn our balancing...he guarantee that if next time calm waters...we sure can surf one...hahaz...after that...bathed and went to food junction at raffles city for dinner...ate ban mian AND hokkien mee WITH ice kachang...hehez...very fulfilling dinner...went home after that...hahaz...

freezer

went to jurong regional lib to study again...must say that it is a big freezer inside lor! brrr...even with a sweater it was so cold! what more i was wearing shorts...really not freezing lar! next time go must wear pants...else will suffer one...hahaz...after studying achelli wanted to go to the fourth storey to laze around at the bean bag area one...but very noisy there...got dunno who playing music there thru the subwoofers...and all the bean bags were taken up...bleahz...

next time ba...see if can use the nice comfy bean bags or not...hehez...tomolo windsurfing! =P

urban escape

today was urban escape...woke up at seven...took a train to pasir ris there...when i arrive there...i was the second last there...hehe...huifen was the last...went over to mac to buy fillet-o-fish...reached pasir ris park...did the necessary registration and went to rent bike...$15 for a non-suspension bike! feng diao...ubin $6 for a full suspension bike lor! bleahz...had briefing and at 10, we started...

cycled all the way to the tampines mountain biking trail there...cycled round the trail and answered questions...after that, went to do archery...very fun! rox! my group shot over 80 points...so no time penalty! yay~ but i got some bruising from the bow string...ran all the way to do abseiling and ascending...let sophia and tze hwee try out ascending since they haven tried before...huifen and i went to do abseiling off 6 storeys i guess...met ah hock...the 26th chief instructor...ya...back to abseiling...the glove like no use one lor...my fingers got burnt! after that...ran to do rock-climbing where there is this er xin overhang to scale...could only get halfway across the overhang...cycled all the way back to do kayaking...then finish liao...

basically that is the whole race...lets go to the not formal commentary...hehez...one part when travelling...there was this TJC team of 2 guy 2 girls...1 girl was lagging very badly...but the 2 guys really not just shouted from the front "Faster! Faster!"...stupid pigs...then @ the rock wall...another team from RJC i think...really not cut queue lar...the station master know liao just bochup...sian...then got CJC and the 8 teams that they sent in...but they keep comparing the progress among themselves...then poor sophia feel down from her bike and grazed her two knees...ouch...

after getting our goodies bag...we went to return our bike and went to bath at the showering point near escape theme park...changed into the urban escape singlet given...walked to white sands to eat...but played at the playground before that...hahaz...ate at the food court...=)...after the meal...zheng wei, hui hui, yu jin, yee hung, hui fen and i went to suntec there the eng wah cinema there to watch "day after tomorrow"...the cinema is digital one...quality superb! shiok! but we wearing singlet really not freezing...luckily i got a hand towel and another polo t-shirt that i brought to keep warm...was eating "shan zha pian" while watching...very thrilling and exciting...worth the money all the way! =) with that, a whole day of events ended...=)

thinking back...

went to he lao shi's wake today. met up with 2A'00 at Choa Chu Kang MRT...met Zi Qian and Justin and their classmates too. Some of my classmates really haven seen them in a while liao...at first it was quite solemn...little talking...maybe too long liao...while waiting for some, we started talking about the past...after a while of waiting...collected the bai jin and went over to the wake at Bukit Panjang...

we offered jossticks before going over to take a look at he lao shi for the last time...mdm kui led me to the side...saying "zhong liang, ji zheng lai kan ni le"...one by one, each of us student went to take a look at our teacher and mdm kui did the same...after see him in a peaceful state...my heart was very heavy...quite emotional then...stood outside for a while...mdm kui has really became more haggard from the last time we saw her...almost could not recognise her liao...

after a while...students from other batches came to pay their last respects...some were still studying in universities...heard the news and came also...also saw some chs and ex-chs teachers there...after listening to mdm kui talk about he lao shi and staying for a while...we left and went to lot 1 for dinner...

during the lrt journey...was crapping a lot on the 2 years together...had a good laugh...very fun re-living the times that we went through together...haha...=)...

juniors

dunno if i should speak up for them or not...ya la...agree that there are some with ap and maybe not putting in as much as they can...but hope that we can all be for tolerent with them...sometimes it is not really their fault...cos their experience is different...their perspective is different...

so let us leave them as they are...let them grow and bond in the way that will define their batch...we ...try not to be too critical...cos not very nice also...whether their batch is successful or not will be judged after their term...not before everything...investiture may have been a little bump in their journey...but they have tried...just that this time they forgot about lock...should not be too harsh...=)...

let us have an open mind...be at the side ready to help them and provide guidance if needed can? =) let us cap off our term on a high and not be affected by these minor bumps...smilez...

ya...not to be mistaken for those reading...i am not saying anyone in particular...just in general...my thoughts...=)...

received news today that he lao shi died in hospital this morning...from throat cancer...to say shocked was an understatement...he was my sec 2 form teacher and chinese teacher...though he may not be one of those teacher churning out top students...but he was a very caring and close teacher to all of us...met up with jian bin and dennis before going over to chs to find out details about the wake...while walking...talked about our sec 2 years...those innocent and crazy dayz...hahaz...

he lao shi is still young...maybe thirty-something only...leaving behind mdm kui, who was my sec 1 form teacher and he lao shi's wife, and his child who is about 4-5 years old only...thinking of this really saddens my day...

will be going to his wake tomorrow to pay my final respects to him...

jurong library

today went out to mug again...hehez...mug mug mug mug mug! think i going bonkers liaoz...went to kap to mug in the morning...the went over to jurong regional library after lunch to take a look there and mug...

whoa...i must say it is quite nice...first step in, can still smell the "newness" in the library...hahaz...walking through the first three levels, all the tables were fully occupied...even the cushions...then going to the fourth storey, the teen section, from a distance, i saw a familiar sigg bottle cover...taking a closer look, i saw peegeok...and nini! haha...such a coincidence! sat down and mug there. was just beside the drinks snacks vending machine...just so happened that not long after sitting down, a man came to refill both machines...by the time i left, almost all the food is gone liao! all in less than 4 hours! scary leh...and the food and drinks are not cheap lor! think the library is really earning quite some money from the machines lor!

mugged until evening time...then took the bus back home for bittergourd dinner! yay~ hehez...simply enjoy eating bittergourd...today very tired liao...shall write until here...

rotting away...

today is another day of mugging...did the vector questions from the maths prelim set...quite okay lar...think i am about ready for my maths liao...quite comfortable liaoz...think will start on my chem or phy tomolo and thurs...tomolo...dunno lar...see how first...getting a bit of sian mugging day in day out...bleahz...

started the day with the cleaning up of my room and the sweeping and mopping the house...luckily had my sister to help me...else i one person very hard to do everything...then for lunch, i stir-fried some instant noodles with some egg, chicken and prawn...turned out quite nice in the end...quite a fulfilling lunch...hehez...=P...started mugging soon after that...

the weather in the afternoon was so hot that i could not stand it...went to the master bedroom and switch on the aircon...did the question there...hehez...

hope that tomolo will be a more exciting day! =P

back to reality

the day after bike hike...the aftermath...having a bad sore throat and a very bad stomachache...have been running to the toilet...4 times liao i think...feeling quite weak...plus the tiredness from bike hike...the day really just sux...

tried to do complex numbers revision...very slow...but managed to finish in the end...could not concentrate much though...haix...still got other sciences to go...see how first lar...will decide when to switch over to the other sciences soon...bleahz...

dunno whether it is me or what...just that after bike hike...got a little emptiness...cos last oac event liao...gonna miss the time we spent organising this and organising that...hehez...so fun...=)

tomolo will be another sian sian day for me...hope to be able to inject some excitement to life soon! wish my body will recover soon...wanna go jurong regional library to take a look and mug there! =)

bike hikes

just finished bike hike this morning...now super duper drained of all energy liao...muscle aching from finger-tip to toe-tip...ah...next couple of days need to recuperate and recharge for more mugging liao!

started off with packing for the event...filling the leaking hydropack...irritating device...haix...then went to parkway parade to takeaway the qiu lian ban mian to bring over to marine cove there to eat. the ban mian super nice!!! yay~ long time haven eaten it liaoz...especially with their chilli...very nice! hehez...met the participants and collected the bikes. merlin's light stick really cannot make it...like no light liddat...but have the make do with it...lucky almost every bike has its on bike light attached to the bike.

the first part of the hike was scavenger hunt...quite okay la...they tried their best to find the things...the live cockroach part very conincidental...walk out of Mac, saw one and herng huei just pounced on it to catch it...||o...the other items also not bad lar...

after that, from bedok mrt to bedok reservoir, they played with sparklers there, with sparklers as their only source of light there...hehez...at the stroke of midnight, we sang happy birthday to moo moo...and jianliang was soaked in water by the 28th...haha...from there, we continued on with the journey to changi village...the trip quite okay lar, especially the flyover crossing...along upper changi rd north, jang fall down and had quite a bad cut to the achilles tendon that part...i think got 4 cm long...but it wass not that deep...so it was quite okay...finally reached changi village...ate a bowl of cup noodles there...before going to changi beach for games...there was a bunch of malay youths who din quite like our presence there...but heck...they dun own the beach...

after games, fearing the the gravel path would be locked, zhemin, yujin, likoon and i sped all the way from changi beach back to east coast in 40 minutes! madness...we cycling until mad...hahaz...but luckily it was not locked, but they built a perimeter around it liao...

at bedok jetty, waited patiently for the sunrise and took nice photographs of the fluffy clouds...caught the sunruse not long after that! super nice! cycled back to the shop...but halfway through, the pedal fell off! i had to cycle with 1 pedal and a awkward position for my the other feet...hehez...went to mac for breakfast...ate 2 sausage egg mcmuffin to satisfy my hunger...hehez....

came back home to rest a sleep after that...

climb adventure

yesterday was out the entire day...was mugging @ kap the entire morning but could only finish the roots approximation section! ah...so slow...need to be faster in revision...else can never finish one...argh...and the stupid blogger template is irritating the heck out of me lor...the line of crap at the start of the page.....dunno what to do with it man...haix...

after lunch went to keppel towers there @ climb adventure. when we first reached there, the rock walls were full, so we tried bouldering first..tried, but to no avail...haix...after that went climbing...think i climbed a total of 9 walls i guess...so it is about 33 cents per wall! hehe...worth it...after that went to burger king for dinner before going home.

today is bike hike day...looking forward to it! yeah! hehez...but aching all over now...and very tired...stoning...

stew meat

yesterday went for class dinner, supposedly class dinner lar...by about 1815, there were 7 guys there liao, at that time was thinking, since guys turnout not bad, the girls turnout would be quite good also. i was so wrong lor. after a while, paul really not say "we wait for three more girls and we can go liao." |||o..best..then edwin was trying to explain that his message off "overwhelming" response was sarcastic, which none of us guys suspected as we trusted him so much..really din want hamtam him at that moment lar! then after a while, the guys went to hide first, in case the three girls came saw and make a u turn back into the gantry for the next train out..hehe..

so we went for dinner with 7 guys, 3 girls with zhirong, claire and amanda joining us later. as always, the guys all chiong meat and seafood. we were totally carnivorous lor! hehe..=P..eat and eat and eat..during the entire time, we were niaoing gapoh(edwin) for a "successful" class dinner..hehe..after dinner, we went to play pool and bowl..tried out the $2 for unlimited games method..haha..after dinner..took the bus back to the train station. but as we walked along the path, we all decided to pole gapoh..so we chose a nice tree for him, and the guys minus paul held him up and poled him 4-5 times! muahaha!

earlier in the day, was busy re-formatting my computer and installing things back into my computer..finally done liao..will be going back to mug soon..math math and more math! ah..

stupid computer

how ironic...yesterday i was watching troy and the trojan horse. today, i scanned my computer because of some irrititating occurance to my IE and i found 2 trojan horses in my computer! super sian...

borrowing jing song's cd and antivirus program tomolo to salvage my computer...gonna re-format it..about time to do so to maintain optimal operating conditions. think half a day would be used to settle this. luckily i can backup my files on my sis's computer cos connected thru the router..

tomolo going down to marina for steamboat dinner..dunno if my mum will bring us to visit my grandfather in the afternoon or not..hmmm..tomolo is gonna be messy..dunno how my day will be like..blah..
